Help us to raise money for the conservation of a painting by local Sheffield artist, Kenneth Steel. As Friends of Sheffield Museums, we hope to raise £2,000 to conserve the painting for future generations to enjoy. If every Friend chose to donate £10, we can make this goal.

Davy United, Blooming and Slabbing Mill (1953) straddles Sheffield’s collections – evoking the city’s industrial and social history. Sadly, it has water damage and needs cleaning by a specialist conservator.

Please help us to provide the specialist care this painting needs to ensure it can be enjoyed by future generations.
